Local Outreach

Walking the talk and talking the walk is a lifestyle that we strive to live individually and as a church.  Our goal is to tell everyone we intersect with about the good news of Jesus Christ.  We also believe we have an obligation to go to those who are lonely, needy, hurting, confused, and abandoned.  Along with outreach service projects and events, we have also established a couple partnerships that allow us to minister in our community.

Locally, we have been involved in a number of outreaches (homeless shelters, nursing homes, feeding centers, and etc).  We believe that Christianity doesn't hide itself in a church building and "play the game" with religious words, suits and ties.  We believe our Lord spent time with those that were hurting . . . the hungry, the addicted, thieves, liars, and harlots that realized their need. He went where they were.  Jesus didn't stay in the temple and beg them to come in.  The Bible says He dwelt among them!  He came to seek and to save those who are lost.  How can we do anything less?

Jesus loved the aged, the widow, and the lonely.  He spent his time encouraging those who needed a friend.  What an encouragement it has been to those who go to be a blessing to the residence.

These are just a few of the significant relationships that we have made in our effort to be a resource to the community locally.  Come and join this exciting journey with us!
